1. Take a breath. We know the symptoms probably don’t feel the best, but they’re common because your system is cleaning itself of unwanted compounds. It’s like taking out the trash. The trash smells bad when you take it out of the trash can and carry it to the curb. But the house is cleaner when it's done.
2. Rest and drink plenty of water. That’s the best thing you can do, besides continuing with your regimen to continue the process and clean out the body.
3. Don't "hold it." If you need to use the restroom, GO IMMEDIATELY. You'll signal to your body to store waste if you hold it and don't release it when your brain signals you to.
4. If you're only 2-3 days away from your next session when your symptoms started, it's very likely that your body is ready to move forward to the next step of healing, so your symptoms are a rejection sign, telling you "switch it up, we don't need this anymore." You can hold off on the existing regimen until your next session and we will figure out your next steps to move you forward at that time.

4. Focus on binders only for 1-2 days and hold the rest of your regimen. Binders typcially include minerals, charcoal, and clay based supplements. If you need to know which specific parts of your regimens are the binders, contact Dr. Alexis. Binders are used to help elminate toxins from the body. Focusing on elmination and holding off on the cleaning for 1-2 days often helps to reduce symptoms.

Will the regimen make me sick?
THIS IS THE NUMBER ONE QUESTION I AM ASKED. EVERYONE WANTS TO KNOW WHAT SYMPTOMS THEY CAN EXPECT THROUGH THE PROGRAM.
While there is no clear answer that would be right for everyone, the info below can shed some light on expectations for symptoms throughout your healing journey.
Symptoms of detoxification, killing off of germs, and eliminating waste can cause some clients to experience symptoms. Each of our organs have a limited number of symptoms that they manifest to alert us to an endless number of problems. What this means is even though you can be on the road to progress your symptoms may feel similar to when you were sick before you started this healing journey. You could experience new symptoms that you've never had, and you can experience no symptoms at all.
All of these occurrences completely normal.
Symptoms can indicate the location of the problem, a back up in elimination, alert us to a factor that's holding back progress, or reveal the next issue that needs to be resolved, among other things.
This is not an all inclusive list, and there can be no guarantee whether any or all of these symptoms will be experienced because it's based on each client's lifestyle and current health status.
Common symptoms experienced include:
headache
constipation or diarrhea
difficulty sleeping
brain fog, difficulty concentrating
rashes, acne, bumps, redness, eczema
abdominal pain or cramping
nausea or vomiting
joint pain, body aches
cold and flu like symptoms
swelling and bloating
gassiness and burping
acid reflux/regurgitation
sugar or other food cravings
nose bleeds
increased menstrual bleeding or spotting
itching
The most important characteristic of any symptoms you experience will be whether or not they are appropriate and expected for you and the phase of your healing journey that you're in. This is why the single most important factor for your success in the program is communication. Messaging me with any concerns about symptoms will allow me to assess them and guide you appropriately.
When should I take my regimen?
Unless otherwise instructed, you can take your regimen at any time. If you happen to have a number of capsules that you feel is too much to take at once, unless otherwise, instructed, you can split them up into any manageable amount, and take them any time.
Do I need to take my regimen with food?
Unless otherwise instructed you do not need to take any of your regimen with food. Most of your supplements need to be absorbed directly into the linings and organs of the body and food will reduce that absorption. This is different from a prescription medication that often has toxic additives that food helps to neutralize when taken. More natural solutions like the ones I recommend don't need food to balance it.
What do I need to do to make the most of this program?
Your best chance for effective and efficient progress through your healing journey is by doing three things: ordering your supplements as quickly as possible, taking them, according to your provided regimen as soon as they arrive, and communicating with me immediately if you have any concerns along the way.
What do I do if I have a symptom flare up?
If you have any symptoms that cause you to be concerned, don’t hesitate to reach out via email so that I can assist you accordingly. Email dralexissams@gmail.com
What if my skin reacts to the oils?
If you know, you have sensitive skin, makes any of the essential oils better to be rubbed on the body with a little bit of olive oil before using it. We typically don’t have sensitive skin, but develop small if you can still add a little olive oil to reduce those symptom. If you have any questions regarding the use of oils, don’t hesitate to email or text me.
Do I need to be on a specific diet while on this plan?
Unless otherwise instructed, there are no specific foods that need to be eaten or avoided to achieve your goals. Your body will naturally reject any foods or drinks it doesn't want for any reason. Things will taste bad or cause abdominal symptoms if your body doesn't want you ingesting it.
Otherwise, just focus on eating as fresh and whole foods as possible. Minimize things that come in bags, boxes, or packaging. Things labeled "fat-free" or "sugar-free" have artificial additives, so try to avoid those in general as well.
Additional Information
All product brands have been tested by me and I stand by their quality. If you receive anything that seems substandard definitely let me know.
Some people have questions and concerns regarding ingesting essential oils. Many bottles are label to avoid ingestion, because they are sold directly to the consumer and the oil company cannot assume that the consumer is under the care of a wellness professional while using their product. So the statement to avoid ingestion is largely to reduce risk of location to the oil company. Therapeutic grade essential oils that are not primarily used for aromatherapy can be safely ingested however, I would not recommend taking more than what is recommended in any regimen that I provide you.
